CG Week 6 & 7

Hellooo!

CG is ON for week 6 and 7!!! This 2 weeks will be focusing on the benifits of having a Christ life. Here is a snapshot of the materials for these weeks. This will be provided by your CG leaders during the meeting. This is for you to read through first and prepare.

It is good to go with a prepared heart and be ready to share and receive. Have a great time in CG people!!!

I had church service just now and we sang this song. I’m sure many of you heard it before. I just got this excitement. Take time to really understand the lyrics.

So guys… CAN YOU FEEL IT??

Why are the cults so vibrant and passionate? They feel the need for people to know their God. They know that they need to MOVE for something big to happen. But sadly their message is not entirely correct. So what about us who have the real message? WE have to BE the change. It does not mean taking a bible and stuffing It down someone’s throat and forcing the gospel onto them. YOU ARE THE GOSPEL. Every single move you make you are being watched. What makes you DIFFERENT from those around you?

You believe in Jesus. So what? You have Jesus. So what? These are what people would ask. Why is your’s so special? Just because the bible say so? They can say my own book says the same thing about my God. So what makes yours so special?


Why do people get so fed up with people sharing the gospel? Why do they say it is a bunch of crap? It is because Christians are not living what they speak about. Put your words into action. Actions speaks louder than words. You do not need to say much. Just show them. What makes you different? Live out what you believe in. It is not a 1 hour a day thing. It is not a Sunday thing. It is not a thing that you can put on and put off. Your IDENTITY is a Christian. If you put it on when you feel like it and take it off whenever you want that is fake.


So come on! Can you feel it? It’s a Jesus epidemic. He is alive in us. Let Him live though us. Show people who Jesus is. He is what makes us special.

Find Rest In God

Hi everyone!


How are you all? Very busy and preoccupied? Well I myself have and am very busy with loads of stuff to do. Lacking sleep and even without leaving things for the last minute, still packed to the max. My mind has been filled with too many things and so much to do. I have datelines to rush the whole week and every week to come.


But suddenly after dinner I had the urge to just pick up the guitar and sing some songs. And just like that my worries went away and slowly I enjoyed my time just singing in my not so nice voice. :P

Now although the work is still there and I have a dateline tomorrow as well, I am now at peace. I do not feel as if I am going to die of busyness. I am even able to concentrate on what I am doing and feel more energised.

After all that long-windedness sharing, all I want to say is take time to spend with God. Many times we are busy and with so much on our mind that we tend to forget God. Yes we may still read the bible and pray (short prayers?). But we are just rushing and rushing and worrying and worrying. 

So when you feel just too tired and had enough, stop and rest in God. Does it take up time? Yes it does. But it is worth it. Any short time spent with God can keep you going for a long time. Spending real time with just you and GOD can energise you more than sleeping. We need God. 

Find rest in God. Do it in your own special way. Mine is marvelling at the scenery or just playing the singing along with the guitar. What's yours? Do not spend this 'time with God' and do something else at the same time. For example listening to Christian songs while doing your work is not what I mean. What I mean is to really give the whole 100% of that time to God. Nothing else.
